Iran Presidential Election: Hassan Rouhani Gets The Victory On Friday
President of Iran Hassan Rouhani has won the election again on Friday over 7 million votes against his competitor Ebrahim Raisi who challenged him for re-election.
Hassan Rouhani is the Lawyer, academic and diplomat, he is the seventh and the current president of the country, he charged the post from the 2013; he has been the member of the Expediency Council since 1991, a member of the Supreme National Security Council since 1989 and the deputy speaker of the Iran Assembly.
Ebrahim Raisi is an Iranian cleric and the current custodian and chairman of Astan Quds Razavi which is a powerful and wealthy foundation; he has been the Deputy Chief Justice from 2004 to 2014 and member of Judiciary system of Iran as the attorney general from 2014 to 2016.
Iran presidential election was took to place on Friday where on one side Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani who was the defendant of his post while on other side Ebrahim demanded for the re election but fortunes come for the president and now Hassan is on the way of victory.
According to inferior ministry of Iran, Ali Asghar Ahmadi said that president Rouhani is leading the vote with over 7 million votes against his competitor on the televised conference and votes are still being counted according to him.
The officials said at briefing that 40 million ballots has counted from which Hassan Rouhani has got the 22.796 million votes while on the other side Ebrahim is behind him with 15.452 million votes and other competitors are far behind from these politicians as Mostafa Mirsalim has the 455,211 votes and Mostafa Hashem Taba got the 210,597 votes with least number as compare to all.
Interior Ministry said that situation is indicating a turnout of 70 percent as 40 million ballets has been counted; more of the population has given their vote to the president Hassan Rouhani.
